day care

At Hound Around we provide a fun and safe day care experience suitable for all pampered pooches. With our different socialisation groups, we can place each dog in an area that suits their energy levels. We assess every dog to determine which area best suits their needs and continue to evaluate this as they grow older or simply grow in confidence. 

Our socialisation groups are:

•  Puppies & timid adults – this area is designed for those dogs who are in the early stages of their socialisation or simply have a shy nature. This group consists of a small group of dogs where they can play without getting overwhelmed by our some energetic and boisterous dogs
• Tweenies -  This area is for those dogs who love to run around and play mad but don’t yet have the confidence to venture in to the big dog area. Depending on their breed and nature, some dogs may be more comfortable in this section indefinitely whereas some others may move on to the adults section as their confidence grows 
• Adults -  This area is our largest group of dogs and is designed for our larger dogs and those who are confident and comfortable with all breeds and sizes
